Job summary

Credit Union of Southern California is seeking a flexible Member Service Officer I, Floater to support the Retail Support Team across the Los Angeles zone, including El Monte. The role involves banking product knowledge, customer service, and branch coverage as needed.

Responsibilities include processing memberships and loans, advising Members, and maintaining quality service in person or by phone. This position requires strong communication and compliance with CU policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months cash handling experience in retail / service industry.
• 1+ years of experience in Member / customer service.

Responsibilities

• Processes new Memberships and additional share accounts; counsels Members in person or by telephone regarding credit union policies.
• Develops relationships with Members by matching individual needs with the appropriate savings, convenience, and lending products/services.
• Handle Member inquiries and perform research to correct errors on Members’ accounts.
• Adhere to the service standards outlined by the credit union.
• Assist Members in completing dispute forms and report suspicious activity.
