Job summary

Coastal1 Credit Union in Cranston, RI is seeking a dedicated Member Service Rep. II to greet members, process transactions, and open new accounts at the Sockanosset Cross Road branch.

The role emphasizes delivering exceptional service and educating members on products to help them bank smarter and meet financial goals. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 6–12 months of relevant experience, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of demonstrated successful work experience as an MSR I or banker with a strong background in customer service or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service from start to finish with each member, including opening savings, checking, IRAs, CDs, Visa and debit card products for consumer and business members.
• Treat each member as an individual and enhance relationships by asking discovery questions and offering solutions.
• Process member transactions and assist with general account questions within scope; know when to refer to loans, commercial products or wealth management.
• Ensure cash drawer and branch balance at close and research any errors.
• Follow established processes with integrity and complete training on Coastal1 products.
• Prioritize learning Coastal1 products and complete training within required timeframe.
