Job summary

SECNY Federal Credit Union in Skaneateles and North Syracuse is hiring a Member Service Representative to greet members and assist with everyday financial needs. You will perform routine transactions, answer questions, cross-sell services, and help maintain security and accuracy at the teller station.

No banking experience? Customer service, retail, hospitality, and cash-handling experience are welcome, and training is provided. A rotating Saturday schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience.
• Willingness to work rotating Saturday schedule.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
• Verifies cash and endorsements, issues receipts, and stops payments when needed.
• Provides information on SECNY services and makes referrals for new products.
