Job summary

ABNB Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative to assist members with all credit union needs and to process financial transactions efficiently across multiple channels, including in-branch, calls, and email.

The role involves explaining products, handling deposits and withdrawals, opening accounts, and resolving issues while maintaining professionalism and a helpful demeanor. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Must be able to operate a PC and related software programs with average speed and accuracy.
• Possess time management and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint is desired.
• Physical Requirements: Sit or stand at a computer for extended periods; lift up to 15 pounds.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively in person, via electronic communication, and over the phone.
• Work Environment: In Office.

Responsibilities

• Presents and explains Credit Union products and services to members and potential members; assists them in identifying credit union products to meet their financial needs.
• Performs routine member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, debit cards.
• Opens and closes all types of accounts and performs file maintenance as needed; ensures collection of signatures and documents.
• Answers questions and assists in resolution of problems by listening and asking questions to understand issues and identify solutions.
• Maintains a professional and courteous attitude with members, coworkers, management, and vendors.
• Supports other branch locations and the Contact Center as needed.
• Follows safety and security rules; helps maintain branch condition and appearance.
• Participates in training and continuing education classes as approved by supervisors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
