Job summary

ABNB Federal Credit Union is hiring a Member Service Representative to assist members with all credit union needs, process transactions, open accounts, and handle inquiries across branches and channels.

The role emphasizes friendly service, accurate handling of deposits and payments, product education, and adherence to policies. Office-based position with training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–3 years of similar or related experience.
• Must be able to operate a PC and related software with average speed and accuracy; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SharePoint is desired.
• Physical requirements: Sit or stand at a computer for extended periods; lift up to 15 pounds.
• Interpersonal skills: Communicate effectively with members and employees in person, via electronic channels, and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Presents and explains Credit Union products and services to members and prospective members.
• Performs routine member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and debit card issues.
• Opens and closes accounts and maintains files, ensuring required signatures and documents.
• Responds to questions and resolves problems by listening and identifying solutions.
• Maintains a professional, courteous attitude with all stakeholders and supports other branch locations as needed.
• Follows safety and security rules and participates in training and continuing education.
