Job summary

American1cu in Michigan Center is seeking a Personal Banker/Member Service Specialist to deliver an exceptional member experience through everyday banking, including account openings, lending and product recommendations.

You will work on-site, build relationships, meet sales goals, and ensure accuracy in processing memberships, loans, and transactions while adhering to credit union policies and security standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous banking or credit union experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to sell products and provide financial wellness guidance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members to review accounts and build personal relationships.
• Process new memberships and loan applications.
• Open new accounts and credit cards; analyze credit reports.
• Assist with lending: analyze loan requests, document processing, closing and funding.
• Maintain accurate records and follow policies and procedures.
• Support branch team and ensure superior member experience.
