Job summary

Crunch Fitness is seeking a part-time front desk agent in Columbus, OH to warmly welcome members, handle check-ins, and support a positive gym experience. You will generate appointments, demo memberships, and enroll new members while staying informed about services and equipment.

This role emphasizes client engagement, accurate record-keeping, and ongoing sales of membership services. Flexible shifts include mornings, evenings, and weekends with in-person work and an employee discount benefit.

Qualifications

• Experience greeting and assisting gym members; ability to upsell memberships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for a diverse member base.
• Familiarity with gym services and equipment to answer questions.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive and inclusive environment for members checking in or seeking service at the front desk.
• Generate appointments through member referrals, networking, formal presentation, public demonstrations, master systems and phone calls.
• Follow up on prospects, conduct gym tours for all prospects and enroll them in a gym membership
• Be knowledgeable of membership services and gym equipment to effectively inform members and answer any questions.
• Continuously sell membership services as part of their regular sales presentation
• Maintain accurate records using Crunch Fitness VFP master systems (TI log, Club Activity, Web Leads, Production Book).
• Conduct daily facility walk around to ensure the cleanliness of the facility
