Job Purpose:- The Member Service Representative at Houston Texas Fire Fighters FCU is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our members by assisting with their personal banking needs and efficiently handling cash transactions. This role is integral to ensuring member satisfaction and fostering strong relationships within the community.Key Responsibilities:- Provide outstanding service to members by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to their accounts and financial transactions.- Assist members with a variety of banking needs, including opening new accounts, processing deposits and withdrawals, and managing account information.- Accurately handle cash transactions, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures to maintain the security and integrity of the credit union.- Educate members on available financial products and services, helping them make informed decisions to meet their financial goals.- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and efficient service experience for all credit union members.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credit union products, services, and policies to provide accurate information and guidance to members.- Contribute to the overall success of the credit union by actively participating in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.- Uphold the credit union's commitment to excellence by consistently delivering service that exceeds member expectations.Required Education:- High school diploma or equivalent is required.Required Experience:- Demonstrated experience in member service or personal banking is essential.- Proven experience with cash-handling responsibilities in a financial setting.Required Skills and Abilities:- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with members and colleagues.- Ability to handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently.- Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to banking operations.- Excellent problem-solving skills to address member inquiries and issues.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security of member information.Full-Time Hours: Monday - Friday 7:55 AM - 5:00 PMLocation: North Branch - 15100 Heathrow Forest Pkwy, Houston, Texas 77032Rotating Saturday Shifts - 8:55 AM - 1:00 PM at Main Office: 4200 Kolb St, Houston, Texas 77007
