Position Summary

L.K. Jordan & Associates is seeking a professional, customer-focused Financial Services Representative to support daily credit union operations. This position is responsible for greeting members and visitors, directing lobby traffic, processing financial transactions, assisting with account services, and promoting financial products and loan options. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and cash-handling skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to build positive member relationships while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet members and visitors promptly and professionally while directing lobby traffic.
• Provide courteous, accurate, and efficient service to members and guests.
• Process financial transactions, including receiving and paying out money and maintaining accurate transaction records.
• Assess members' financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
• Explain available loan products and assist members and employees with loan-related inquiries.
• Prepare and process forms, agreements, and applications for financial products and loans.
• Assist members with wire transfers, statement and check copies, check orders, stop-payment requests, payroll allocations, and Visa debit card requests.
• Enter new member information and update sales and account data in the computer system.
• Assist with opening and closing the safe deposit vault and provide access to members' safe deposit boxes.
• Provide notary services as needed, subject to applicable authorization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members through professional, personalized service.
• Assist Financial Services Representatives as needed.
• Complete required in-house certifications and training.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous banking, credit union, teller, or financial services experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience handling cash and processing financial transactions accurately.
• Ability to explain financial products and services clearly.
