TruWest Credit Union in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Teller II to assist members with product and account information and support branch opening/closing activities.

You will handle deposits, loans, and cross-sell opportunities while ensuring compliance with policies. The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to process applications and maintain accurate cash drawers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum one year Teller II or similar sales experience at a financial institution.
• Advanced knowledge of TruWest products, services and account requirements for cross-selling.
• Ability to perform math calculations with high accuracy and balance negotiables.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with TruWest computer system and common office equipment.

Responsabilités

• Identify member financial needs and promote appropriate products.
• Perform Teller-related duties and assist with branch opening/closing.
• Manage lobby traffic with personalized, professional service.
• Use Lobby Tracker lobby management app.
• Process product, service, and loan applications.
• Open deposit accounts and originate loan products per laws.
• Understand Business Accounts and IRAs and related documents.
• Educate members about financial options and cross-sell.
• Notary and Signature Guarantee duties.
• Adhere to policies including BSA and confidentiality.
• Make outbound sales calls and handle inquiries.
• Build book of business with regular follow-ups.
• Handle documents and negotiables per procedures.
• Understand electronic check processes and anti-fraud tools.
• Demonstrate eServices and signup on devices.
