Job summary

UniWyo Credit Union is seeking a member service professional to greet visitors, assist with accounts, and promote financial products. You will handle in-person transactions, cash handling, and card issuance, while maintaining confidentiality and policy compliance.

The role involves attention to detail, strong customer service, and sales activities aimed at referral to the sales team. Flexibility with schedule may be required in a community credit union environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant accounting, banking, service or closely related experience.
• Proficient in word processing and current spreadsheet software.
• May be required to move and/or transport heavy items up to 40 pounds.
• May be exposed to potential physical harm and infectious diseases.
• May be required to work outside traditional schedules.
• May be required to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receives, responds to and assists members visiting the credit union.
• Promotes and sells products and services in person.
• Establishes, maintains, and closes a variety of financial savings accounts.
• Issues debit cards and pre-paid cards.
• Balances teller drawer daily and ensures accuracy of cash.
• Assists with training of new service representatives and shares knowledge.
• Responds to member questions, concerns and complaints in a timely and clear manner.
• Ensures compliance with Bank Secrecy and Anti Money Laundering rules.
