Job summary

Deseret First Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Agent to assist members over the phone and through email with account needs, transactions, and education on available products and services.

You will handle incoming calls, open new accounts, process checks, and respond to inquiries while delivering friendly, professional service in a supportive environment. Training is provided, with potential work-from-home flexibility after onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and six months of experience working with the general public required
• Previous phone experience is helpful

Responsibilities

• Takes incoming calls from members to assist with account needs and transactions
• Opens new accounts
• Processes checks
• Responds to members' e-mail and chat system inquiries
• Provides credit union products and services to existing members

The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:45am - 5:45pm, as well as rotating Saturdays 8:45am - 2:00pm. After the initial training period onsite, there will be an option for work-from-home flexibility or remote work.

Summary

The Member Service Agent provides service to members of the credit union by processing their financial transactions and educating them on credit union products and services over the phone and via email and other electronic correspondence.

Salary

Starting at $21/hour DOE.
