Job summary

UFCU is hiring a Personal Banker in Galveston, TX. You will deliver Member-focused service, process deposits, loans, and transactions, and review credit reports with Members to identify solutions that meet their financial goals.

You will engage in community events, educate Members on UFCU products, and uphold regulatory compliance while providing smooth onboarding and digital tool support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to Members in accordance with UFCU’s values.
• Open consumer deposit accounts and Certificates of Deposit.
• Read and review credit reports with members.
• Process loan applications, financial transactions, and other service requests.
• Refer members to appropriate business partners and assist with fraud disputes.
• Host tables and participate in events and SEG activities.
• Ensure compliance with laws, internal controls and policies.
