Job summary

American Airlines Credit Union is seeking a Member Services Representative to build lasting member relationships and match needs to products and lending solutions. You will process loan applications, analyze credit documentation and apply lending authority while supporting cross-selling and exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with branch staff, uphold security policies, and participate in events to promote the Credit Union.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to work in-person at assigned branch location.
• Strong background in a financial institution with consumer loan processing/underwriting within the last 12 months.
• Job level to be determined by candidate's skills and experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business/finance or related area.

Responsibilities

• Process new loan applications, interview members, analyze credit reports and documentation.
• Exercise lending authority to handle loan requests including consumer loans.
• Create and promote positive name recognition for the Credit Union.
• Support or speak publicly at Credit Union events.
• Work with branch managers to identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Research member inquiries and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain awareness of branch functions and provide coverage as needed.
• Implement and enforce internal controls and security measures.
