Job summary

Florida Credit Union is seeking a motivated Member Service Representative to assist members with their financial needs and provide personalized solutions in line with our policies. You will handle loan interviews, assess credit history, and communicate options clearly to ensure confidence and trust.

You will also process memberships, checking accounts, IRAs, and other services while staying compliant with OFAC and BSA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging loan interviews and gather essential credit history to tailor financial solutions to members’ needs.
• Assess loan applications by evaluating assets, liabilities, and credit experiences, and guide members through loan procedures.
• Clearly communicate loan alternatives, credit criteria, and documentation to ensure members feel informed and confident.
• Cross-sell additional credit union services and provide expert advice to enhance members’ financial well-being.
• Process memberships, checking accounts, IRAs, and other financial services.
• Address member inquiries and resolve issues, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to OFAC and Bank Secrecy Act requirements to maintain high standards of compliance.
