Job summary

American Airlines Credit Union seeks a Loan Processor within the Lending Solutions team in Fort Worth, TX. You will handle high-volume calls, process loan applications, analyze credit data, and promote cross-selling opportunities while ensuring compliance with regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preference for a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in financial services, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or equivalent financial services experience.
• Lending experience in a credit union, bank, or finance company; sales culture experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls in the Phone Loan Department.
• Process new loan applications, interview members, analyze credit reports and docs.
• Exercise lending authority to handle loan requests including consumer loans.
• Create and promote positive name recognition for the Credit Union.
• Work with managers to identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Research inquiries and provide timely solutions.
• Implement and enforce internal controls per policies and regulations.
• Foster a teamwork and service excellence culture.
• May handle Loan Processor responsibilities as needed.
• Possibly rotate Saturday schedule.
