Job summary

Westmark Credit Union in Idaho Falls seeks a Relationship Development Officer to drive business growth by building trust with members and identifying opportunities to expand our member base.

You will collaborate with internal teams to develop new products, engage local businesses, and promote credit union services through events and outreach. The role requires proactive outreach, strong communication, and a community‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably with financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively interact with members and potential members to build relationships of trust.
• Assist members with account inquiries, loan requests, and problem resolution by connecting them with appropriate referred source.
• Educate members about credit union products and services and connect them with appropriate referred sources.
• Follow up with referred members or potential members to ensure satisfaction and resolution.
