Job summary

Canyon View Credit Union in Utah seeks a focused Business Development Specialist to grow member relationships and develop employer groups. You will leverage networking and outreach to expand the member base and promote credit union solutions across local businesses.

You will prospect for new members, present solutions, coordinate with branches, and help drive marketing efforts while ensuring smooth onboarding and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, communications, English or related or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to make quality one-on-one and group presentations, in person or virtual.
• Experience prospecting, offering products and services, and referring.
• Experience administering social media promotions and presenting on camera.
• Proficient in Word/Excel/Outlook.
• Ability to travel up to 33% with some weekends/evenings/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for potential new member opportunities and turn this into growth.
• Cold call within market to maintain a robust pipeline.
• Meet potential select employer groups and grow relationships.
• Identify decision makers and research new groups.
• Set up and facilitate new member drives.
• Present products/services to enhance relationships and drive growth.
• Work with operations and branches to open and onboard new memberships.
