Job summary

Vibrant Credit Union in Moline, IL is seeking a diligent Teller to provide accurate transactional service to members. You will handle cash, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with care, while promoting relevant products to meet member needs.

You will complete opening, closing, and balancing procedures, deliver prompt, friendly service, and work under the Branch Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of account structure and ownership.
• Experience with sales and promotional strategies.
• Basic knowledge of banking terminology.

Responsibilities

• Consistently identify and promote relevant products and services to meet member needs.
• Complete all opening, closing, and balancing procedures.
• Perform routine and advanced branch transactions (cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, balance inquiries, etc.).
• Enhance member experience by assessing member needs and promptly assisting when appropriate.
• Demonstrate conflict management practices when dealing with escalated members.
• Deliver profound and individualized member experiences.
