Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess good communication skills.
• Minimum 3 months customer service experience in a financial institution or retail.
• Previous Teller or cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of the teller position.
• Learn and obtain knowledge of the credit union's products and services.
• Evaluate member accounts and cross sell services.
• Greet members courteously and provide prompt service.
• Perform deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash advances, loan payments and check cashing.
• Maintain teller drawer cash within appropriate levels.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date of all products and services.
• Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Process teller daily proof and maintain confidentiality.
• Accommodate flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Teller Floats report to various in-county locations as directed.
