Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Financial Advisor to provide comprehensive financial planning, investments, and insurance solutions to members. The role partners with branch teams to deepen relationships and deliver tailored financial strategies.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of advisory experience, active FINRA licenses (7 & 63; 65/66 preferred), and Life/Health licenses. This full-time role offers benefits and opportunities for growth within a member-focused credit union.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of financial advisory, wealth management, investment, or related financial services experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses; Series 65/66 licenses preferred.
• Life and Health Insurance licenses required; strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial planning and advisory services using a goals-based approach.
• Develop and manage a book of business; partner with branches to identify opportunities.
• Conduct seminars and educational events to promote financial wellness and advisory services.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
