Qualifications

• Minimum three years banking experience; consumer lending preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; learn SCCU software.
• Knowledge of lending laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consumer loan interviews in person or by phone.
• Input loan applicant data into the core system to create applications.
• Submit loan applications for decisioning to a Loan Officer.
• Prepare and obtain signatures on loan documents; fund loans.
• Perform quality control of funded loans and correct documents as needed.
• Imaging loan documents into the core system and ensure readability.
• Assist with lien perfection (titles and UCC-1) for collateral.
• Generate adverse action notices and welcome letters.
• Handle general clerical duties and respond to inquiries.
• Complete required annual training and stay compliant with lending laws.
• Open new accounts and assist members with updates and notarization.
• Provide cross-sales of products and services and maintain confidentiality.
• Resolve member complaints and maintain a secure work area.
