Job summary

Atlantic FCU is seeking a Member Service Representative Team Lead in Freeport, ME. You will lead a team of member service representatives, ensuring they have the resources and training to deliver exceptional service while working closely with the Branch Manager to foster a positive, productive environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, confidentiality, and a commitment to accuracy in handling member information and transactions.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of similar or related experience.
• Amazing service and communication skills.
• Ability and desire to lead others.
• Capacity to learn and utilize our core banking system and related platforms.
• High degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Previous experience in managing or mentoring employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support our member service representatives to ensure they have resources and training to thrive.
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to create a positive, productive work environment focused on exceptional member experiences.
• Guide and coach team members to deliver consistently high service levels.
• Develop and implement training and process improvements to drive branch success.

What We're Looking For:

• A passion for helping others and a desire to grow with our organization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (we'll teach you the rest!)
• 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role (banking experience a plus, but not required)
• Experience in a leadership role.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A commitment to confidentiality and accuracy in your work
