Job summary

Metro Credit Union in West Roxbury, MA is hiring a Sales & Service Representative to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and manage everyday banking needs onsite. You will open accounts, process transactions, and guide members toward appropriate financial solutions while protecting member information.

You’ll support branch operations, participate in referrals, and grow skills through the Universal Service program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clear, attentive service and strong communication.
• Accurate handling of financial transactions and documentation.
• Onsite availability including rotating Saturdays.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications and branch systems.
• Ability to lift teller drawers or coin bags weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments and other member transactions accurately.
• Open and service consumer accounts with proper IDs and documentation.
• Ask questions to understand member needs and recommend financial solutions.
• Conduct consumer loan interviews and assist with applications.
• Make referrals to Metro partners when appropriate.
• Resolve member concerns and follow through to resolution.
• Balance daily work with guidelines and protect member information.
• Serve as branch keyholder for opening/closing.
• Grow skills through Metro’s Universal Service program and provide cross-functional support as needed.
