Job summary

Metro Credit Union’s Reading Branch seeks a Sales & Service Representative to deliver a welcoming member experience, handle deposits, openings, and transactions, and advise on financial solutions. You’ll collaborate with partners, support branch goals, and participate in learning programs to grow skills, all while adhering to security and privacy standards.

The role requires onsite work at the Reading, MA location, with rotating Saturday shifts and a compensation range aligned to branch staffing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear communication and attentive service.
• Ability to handle financial transactions and detailed documentation accurately.
• Dependability and ability to work onsite during scheduled branch hours, including rotating Saturdays.
• Ability to use standard computer applications and learn branch systems and equipment.
• Ability to operate office and branch equipment and lift teller drawers or coin bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Highly motivated self-starter with growth and results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, efficient, and personalized experience for every member.
• Ask thoughtful questions to understand each member’s needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments and payoffs, and other member transactions accurately.
• Open and service consumer accounts with proper identification and documentation.
• Balance daily work within guidelines and protect confidential member information.
• Serve as a branch keyholder with opening/closing responsibilities.
