Job summary

WHITEFISH CREDIT UNION in Thompson Falls, MT, is seeking a Teller to handle withdrawals, deposits and payments, while maintaining accuracy and excellent member service. You will balance cash drawers, verify identities, and record transactions, supporting management and other departments as needed.

Ideal candidates have high school education and 6–12 months in banking or customer service, with strong math and communication skills. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and stability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6-12 months professional banking or credit union experience preferred.
• 6-12 months professional customer service experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first contact for Members seeking withdrawal, deposit and payment services.
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers at ends of shifts.
• Verify Member identity and update information as needed.
• Enter transactions into computers and issue receipts.
• Assist management as needed and support other departments.
