Job summary

BATTLEGROUND COUNTRY CLUB is seeking a Member Experience Coordinator in New Jersey to plan, coordinate, and run engaging youth, family, and member programming that enhances the club experience. You will oversee youth programming operations, supervise staff, and manage event logistics to ensure safe, high-quality activities.

Collaborate with multiple departments to promote events, maintain calendars, and support budgets, registrations, and communication efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, event management, or recreation preferred.
• Minimum of two years related work experience in event programming, recreation, hospitality, youth programming, or member engagement.
• Must possess CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in educational program development and implementation.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and enjoying working with all age groups.
• Proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with members, guests, clients, and employees.
• Demonstrated results-oriented and capable of working with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate youth, family, and member programming.
• Supervise a team of youth activity counselors and camp counselors.
• Manage event logistics and provide on-site support.
• Build strong relationships with families and members; promote activities and gather feedback.
• Ensure all activities are conducted safely and aligned with club standards.
• Collaborate with departments (F&B, golf, tennis, facilities, marketing) to integrate programming.
• Maintain registrations, attendance, and records; assist in reporting.
