Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Teller in Michigan's Grand Rapids area. The role focuses on creating a warm, welcoming member experience while accurately processing a high volume of transactions.

You will promote LMCU products and services to help members achieve their financial goals, maintain cash-handling accuracy, and uphold security and risk-management practices in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of teller or related experience.
• Previous cash handling experience and knowledge of financial products is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Member Experience: Promote a positive member experience, build trust, identify member needs and guide them to suitable products.
• Transaction Processing and Cash Handling: Accurately perform teller transactions, balance cash drawer, maintain accuracy and security.
• Product Promotion/Growth: Refer members to relevant products and services to support financial goals and drive branch growth.
• Learning & Development: Stay updated on products, policies, and systems; educate members on digital platforms.
