Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union in Grand Rapids is hiring a Part-Time Teller to deliver a welcoming member experience and accurately process a high volume of transactions at on-site branches across the Grand Rapids South Region.

The Teller will promote LMCU products, help members with financial needs, and uphold security and risk controls. Evening and Saturday rotational shifts are required, with full on-site access and opportunities for growth within the credit union.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cash handling or teller experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of financial products and services.
• Familiarity with fraud prevention and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional member service at the teller window.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments accurately.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accuracy.
• Identify fraud indicators and adhere to security procedures.
• Promote LMCU products to meet members' financial goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
