Job summary

Empeople Credit Union in Biddeford, ME seeks a Member Relationship Officer (Teller) to deliver exceptional member experiences and handle transactions, deposits, loan payments, and inquiries.

You will educate members on digital banking, maintain confidentiality, perform notary services, and support the branch with balancing, cash handling, and compliance with applicable regulations. This is a customer-facing role with weekend hours and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and two years of related teller, customer service and cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and educate on products and services.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other account transactions.
• Handle account servicing requests and respond to member inquiries within authority.
• Maintain accuracy in cash handling and daily balancing.
• Provide Notary services and promote digital banking and self-service tools.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
