Job summary

New York Sports Club and our family of brands is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor in Oceanside, NY. You will foster a welcoming environment, coach Service & Sales Representatives, and assist the GM with retention and AR collections.

The role requires a strong focus on customer service and club operations to ensure member satisfaction. You will manage onboarding of SSRs, handle member interactions, and ensure consistent, positive experiences at the Welcome Desk.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of face-to-face customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a fitness, hospitality, or retail environment.
• AED/CPR certified.
• Ability to learn and maximize POS/timekeeping/membership systems.
• Comfortable leading outreach and referral activities that will generate leads and appointments.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote, maintain, and protect the customer experience by developing SSRs to be solution‑oriented.
• Engage with members and guests to foster retention and drive referrals.
• Respond quickly to member feedback, complaints, and inquiries about services and billing.
• Lead and supervise the SSR team to achieve operational excellence.
