Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a Member Service Representative Level 2 at the Covington Family YMCA to provide outstanding member service, engage with customers, and support membership operations.

You will greet members, respond to questions, maintain knowledge of programs, and work to build strong relationships with members, volunteers, and staff. This role emphasizes service quality, safety, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Pass Traction Rec training within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Respect privacy of members and handle information confidentially.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants.
• Welcome members as they enter and leave the YMCA.
• Greet, engage, and/or tour prospective members and program participants.
• Support membership operations through sale of memberships and programs.
• Develop, educate, and maintain knowledge base to answer questions quickly.
• Build committed relationships with members, volunteers, and partners.
• Resolve membership concerns and inform supervisor of issues.
• Maintain CPR/AED, Blood-borne Pathogens, orientation, and emergency procedures certifications.
• Follow policies and procedures from training manuals and updates.
• Communicate positively with members, guests, and volunteers; provide needed assistance.
• Assist in annual branch Campaign and achieve related goals.
• Complete Traction Rec trainings as assigned.
