Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is hiring a Member Service Representative Level 2 at the Northeast Cobb YMCA to deliver high‑quality member services and information in person and by phone.

Under the direction of the Membership Director, duties include greeting members, selling memberships, responding to questions, maintaining knowledge base, and supporting program offerings. The role requires strong communication, privacy awareness, and a willingness to complete Traction Rec trainings.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service focus with ability to engage members.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Able to pass Traction Rec training within 30 days of hire.
• Maintain privacy of member information.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in-branch and on the phone.
• Welcome members and guests as they enter or leave.
• Greet, engage, and tour prospective members.
• Support membership operations through sale of memberships and program offerings.
• Develop and maintain knowledge to respond to questions quickly.
• Build relationships with members, volunteers, and partners.
• Handle and resolve membership concerns and inform supervisor of issues.
• Maintain CPR/AED and safety certifications as required.
• Follow policies from training manual and new policies.
• Communicate positively with members and volunteers and assist as needed.
• Assist in annual branch campaigns and achieve team goals.
• Complete Traction Rec trainings as assigned.
