Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a Member Service Representative Level 2 to deliver exceptional service, assist with memberships, and support program offerings at the Decatur branch.

You will actively engage members, respond to questions, maintain knowledge, and build strong relationships with staff and volunteers while upholding safety and privacy standards. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and branch operations.
• Ability to pass Traction Rec training within 30 days of hire.
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
• Respect for member privacy and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone.
• Welcome members as they enter and leave the YMCA.
• Greet, engage, and/or tour prospective members and program participants.
• Support membership operations through sale of memberships and program offerings.
• Develop and maintain knowledge base to respond to questions quickly.
• Build committed relationships with members, volunteers, and partners.
• Handle and resolve membership concerns and inform supervisor of issues.
• Maintain CPR/AED and safety certifications and follow procedures.
• Communicate positively with members, guests, and volunteers and assist as needed.
• Participate in annual campaigns and Traction Rec trainings as assigned.
