Job summary

Rogue Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative in southern Oregon, seeks a Member Service role to greet and assist members with active listening and accurate information. The role emphasizes Service Promises and delivering exceptional member experiences.

Responsibilities include handling transfers, loan payments, online banking tasks, and maintaining product knowledge. The position requires weekend availability and is rooted in community service and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
• A high school education or GED.
• Interpersonal skills: contact with the public for information
• Physical requirements: ability to move up to 30 pounds, sit/stand, keyboard use
• Work environment: requires Saturdays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists members by telephone, email, or remote channels using Rogue's Service Promises.
• Addresses requests: transfers, loan payments, stop payments, card orders/replacements, statements and address changes.
• Maintains knowledge of credit union products/services and cross-sell opportunities.
• Supports other departments and participates in promotions as needed.
