Job summary

The role focuses on financial education, responsible borrowing, and growth through deepening member relationships. You’ll balance flexibility with compliance, learn Verve’s offerings, and participate in branch and community

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service, retail banking, or cash handling experience.
• Basic knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations.
• Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to members.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn core banking systems.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work Saturdays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and provide a welcoming environment.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
• Open and service consumer deposit accounts and add beneficiaries.
• Explain product features and regulatory terms clearly.
• Assist members with digital banking tools.
• Take applications for credit cards and unsecured loans.
• Promote Verve products and assist in branch/community outreach.
• Balance cash drawer and complete daily balancing.
• Follow BSA/AML, OFAC, and Patriot Act regulations.
• Complete required annual compliance training.
