Job summary

Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union in Glastonbury, CT is hiring a Member Service Specialist to be the friendly face of the branch. You will handle member inquiries, perform teller functions, and support day-to-day branch operations with accuracy and empathy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a sales or customer service role is required.
• Prior experience in a financial/banking institution is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding service to both internal and external members.
• Performs teller functions including cash and check deposits/withdrawals and record night/mail deposits.
• Resolves member requests promptly, courteously, and professionally.
• Promotes Nutmeg products and services to meet member needs and protect the Credit Union's interests.
• Assists members with general information on programs, rates, and services.
• Opens and closes accounts; renews certificates and assists with loans and account problems.
• Maintains files, updates account changes, and supports branch audits and compliance.
