Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Hartford seeks a Member Services Representative to deliver exceptional service to members, potential members and guests. Responsibilities include managing front desk operations, providing program information, processing registrations, and supporting membership retention initiatives.

Under the guidance of the Membership Director, you will input data into Daxko, process dues, and assist with scholarship applications while upholding YMCA policies and maintaining a welcoming

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Previous customer service, sales or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Basic mathematical skills and able to handle

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day operations of the front desk (phone calls, membership communications, emails, memberships, registrations, deposits, etc).
• Scans all membership ID cards.
• Provide members with detailed, accurate and timely information regarding schedules, costs, programs and facility information.
• Input memberships and program registrations into Daxko and process associated dues/fees.
• Assist in maintaining branch cleanliness, appearance and safety.
• Open and close the facility according to established procedures.
• Attend required staff meetings and trainings.
• Assist in training and development of new staff.
