Job summary

The Auto Club Group in Vernon Hills, IL is hiring a Branch Customer Service Representative. On-site role with Monday–Friday hours 7:30 AM–6:00 PM and rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a day off during the week. You will greet members, promote memberships, and handle banking and travel product inquiries.

You’ll resolve issues, process payments, and support the travel and insurance sales team while contributing to branch goals in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Customer Experience: Experience in a customer-focused environment delivering timely, helpful solutions.
• Problem Solving & Ownership: Take personal responsibility, use good judgment, and seek solutions when challenges arise.
• Digital Confidence: Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and learning workplace technology that supports customer service.
• Organization & Prioritization: multitask, prioritize work effectively, meet office and customer service goals.
• Schedule Flexibility: work irregular hours, including holidays and weekends, and participate in community events when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet, service, and support members by promoting and selling membership, travel products, select banking products, and other ACG offerings.
• Generate leads, share travel and insurance specials, provide travel information, and conduct outbound promotional calls for insurance and travel products.
• Respond to member inquiries, help resolve complaints, and refer complex questions to senior staff when appropriate.
• Process payments for policies, travel products, tickets, and money products while balancing the cash drawer.
• Provide administrative support to travel and insurance sales staff during peak periods and participate in office activities that support branch goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
