Job summary

CEFCU is seeking a member service associate to provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. You will determine financial needs, educate and cross-sell CEFCU Investment Services and CEFCU Financial Services products, and resolve member questions while using multiple systems for checks and verification.

The role emphasizes compliance, cash handling, and strong client relations, with flexible scheduling including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years customer service experience.
• Must be eligible to register with NMLS per SAFE Act.
• Understand Federal and State Regulations governing Financial Institutions.
• Acquire and maintain proficient operation of CEFCU mainframe applications and third-party systems.
• Balance Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders, and perform receptionist duties.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions and resolve account issues for members.
• Answer member questions and cross-sell CEFCU/CEFCU Investment Services products.
• Maintain compliance with government regulations and CEFCU policies.
• Balance cash drawer and assist with cashiering duties as needed.
• Support office duties and contribute to team success.
