Job summary

Gesa Credit Union in Seattle seeks a friendly Member Service Associate (MSA) to deliver exceptional service and basic banking support. The MSA performs teller transactions, supports digital banking, and refers services to deepen member relationships.

You will engage with members, handle transactions with accuracy, and follow procedures to protect privacy and security. This entry-level role emphasizes service quality and teamwork within our community-focused credit union.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
• Some cash handling experience preferred.
• Maintain confidentiality, follow policies, and comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service to all whom we serve.
• Solve problems, take ownership of member concerns, provide prompt resolutions, and follow up as appropriate.
• Understand financial literacy, products, and services to converse fluently with members.
• Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Offer appropriate products and/or services to deepen member relationships and refer to other experts as needed.
• Make outbound calls to establish and grow member relationships.
• Ensure branch equipment is functioning and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform transactions and service requests accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow cash handling procedures and balance cash drawer at end of shift.
• Assist with Digital Banking enrollment, navigation, resets, and maintenance.
• Assist with routine fraud disputes.
