Job summary

Insight Global seeks a dedicated Member Support Specialist to assist Girl Scout members in Flint, Michigan, focusing on exceptional customer service and proactive problem-solving to retain both girl and adult memberships.

You will respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, collaborate with internal teams, and utilize Salesforce and video conferencing to support members while analyzing membership data for insights.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to respond professionally to inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Experience supporting customers, members, parents, or volunteers.
• Ability to provide first-level conflict resolution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn additional software programs.
• Experience with or ability to use Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to members within the assigned geographic area.
• Answer, manage, problem-solve, and respond appropriately to inquiries received by phone, email, and in person.
• Collaborate with internal partners to provide effective support to parents and troop volunteers.
• Provide first-level conflict resolution in accordance with organizational processes.
• Use technology, including Salesforce and web-based video conferencing, to support members.
• Use data-analysis software to track, organize, and analyze membership information.
• Support the organization’s overall customer-support plan, including assisting retail curbside customers when assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
