Job summary

Sunmark Credit Union in Glenmont, NY is hiring at our Glenmont Financial Center. Starting pay is $22-24/hr based on experience.

You will greet members, provide information on services, assist with transactions using Interactive Teller Machines, and help open accounts including IRA/Trust/Business where applicable.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1 year sales/customer service, banking experience preferred; NMLS license obtained during training; notary designation required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; minimum 1 year sales/customer service.
• Prior banking experience preferred.
• Ability to meet sales goals, strong attention to detail and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a member liaison, assisting member convenience with credit union technology.
• Provides advanced consumer account information including IRA, Trust, Estate and Business accounts.
• Resolves member questions, problems and complaints.
• Assists Management in maintaining culture while achieving department sales goals; conducts consumer account openings and reviews documentation for accuracy.
• Achieves Notary Public designation and provides notary services as requested.
