Job summary

SRP Federal Credit Union is seeking a Branch Clerk/Member Services role at Broad Street Branch in Augusta, GA. Under the Branch Manager, you will deliver excellent member service and promote SRP products and services to meet member needs.

The role requires strong customer service background, notary capabilities, and the ability to handle teller transactions. The team emphasizes coaching, professionalism, and a positive image of SRP in and outside the workplace.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of member/customer service experience, 4+ years in financial services.
• 1+ years of sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offer Credit Union products and services to current and potential members using a member benefit-based approach.
• Comply with SRP Credit Union policies, procedures, guidelines, and service standards.
• Represent the Credit Union professionally to members and potential members.
• Act as a primary source of product information for member and staff inquiries.
• Gather information to complete memberships, deposits, loan accounts/applications, and maintenance.
• Communicate loan decisions to applicants and disburse loans with proper documentation.
• Provide Notary Services for members.
• Meet or exceed sales and service goals set by management.
• Assist members with fraud, discrepancies, or account questions.
• Perform teller transactions as needed.
• Exercise approval authority in certain situations (checks, wires).
• Other tasks may be assigned by supervision.
