Job summary

Active Wellness Center at Napa seeks a Service Desk Lead to deliver outstanding member service and manage the front desk team within the Napa center. You will contribute to member retention and drive new membership sales while coordinating desk operations and customer experience.

You will recruit, train, and schedule the service desk team, supervise POS activities, and support adherence to Operational Standards of Excellence. A collaborative, customer-focused leader is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year in customer service, management experience a plus.
• Must be detail oriented, organized and highly responsive with a commitment to customer service.
• AED/CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Proof of citizenship or legal status.
• Experience with health club membership systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members at the service desk, handling inquiries and sales.
• Recruit, train, and develop the Service Desk Team.
• Set staff schedules and ensure full coverage.
• Open club on time and manage front desk operations.
• Present memberships to prospective members and close sales when appropriate.
• Oversee point of sale activities and ensure accuracy of transactions.
• Support department budgets and payroll submissions.
• Maintain safety and operational standards across the desk.
