Job summary

Downey Federal Credit Union is seeking a Universal Associate/Contact Center Representative to service members in-branch and via call center. You will interview members, open new memberships and accounts, and assist with loan applications and funding.

You will respond to member inquiries, verify eligibility, and process deposits, withdrawals, and transfers while ensuring compliance and professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, secondary education preferred.
• Two years of credit union or lending experience.
• Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel).
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between members and the credit union in-branch and call center settings.
• Open new memberships and individual accounts; process consumer loan applications and fund loans.
• Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
