Job summary

Capital Credit Union in Appleton, WI is seeking a Branch Associate to greet members, process transactions, and support consumer lending and new accounts. You will work in person and by phone, promote products, and build lasting relationships with members.

Responsibilities include maintaining accounts, interpreting documents, answering questions, assisting with procedures, and potentially handling teller duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend detailed and technical instructions.
• Ability to pass a federal background check and be listed on the SAFE Act registry as required.
• Ability to operate basic computer tools (terminal, word processing, email, adding machine).
• Comprehensive knowledge of products, services, and procedures to process transactions after 3–6 months on the job.
• Must maintain high accuracy with attention to detail and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive members in person and by telephone to address their needs and requests.
• Promote Credit Union products and services to members, including loans, deposits, and electronic services.
• Build financial relationships with members and educate them about Home Banking and other services.
• Maintain and follow up on account records in the computer system; explain eligibility for accounts and loans.
• Assist in preparing procedures and documentation; may perform teller functions and branch opening/closing duties.
• May assist in training new employees.
