Job summary

Equinox is seeking a Front Desk Associate to join the energetic, member-focused team at our New York clubs. You will greet members and guests, answer phones, respond to questions, and maintain accurate account records while upholding a welcoming atmosphere.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of customer service experience, strong communication, and a friendly, outgoing personality. The position offers $16 per hour with competitive benefits and complimentary club membership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in customer service or related experience.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must communicate effectively in person, via email and via phone.
• Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests professionally.
• Answer phones professionally.
• Respond to member questions, concerns and discrepancies.
• Update members' accounts as needed.
• Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
• Work opening/closing/mid-day shifts.
• Tour members.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to members, prospective members and guests.
• Aid other departments with related tasks.
