Job summary

The Fisher Island Club is seeking a Member Services and Events Coordinator to own the day-to-day execution of all Member social events on-site, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and cost control.

The role requires proven event-planning experience, exceptional organization, and the ability to work with demanding patrons with grace and charisma, coordinating decor, F&B, venue setup, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative approach to planning.
• Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and Canva)

Responsibilities

• Owns day-to-day execution of Membership social events and activities, driving them to completion on-site.
• Organizes each venue with décor, table assignments, food & beverage, entertainment, etc.
• Completes administrative details: vendor agreements, certificates of insurance, purchase orders, check requests, and follow-up.
• Books event spaces and creates banquet event orders (BEO).
• Manages day-to-day event timelines and reports progress to the manager.
• Maintains inventory of event props, including rented items and off-island storage.
• Creates events on Club app and monitors reservations.
• Prepares event overviews and supporting documents for holidays.
• Collects data to track KPIs and post-event reporting.
• Communicates with Membership Assistants about event details status.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
