Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a friendly Member Service Representative at the Alpharetta YMCA location. You will provide excellent service to members and guests, greet and welcome visitors, and support membership and program registrations in person and over the phone.

You will also respond to inquiries, maintain privacy, and uphold safety and training standards in a busy branch environment. Prior customer service experience is preferred; basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of computers including MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
• Welcome members as they enter and leave the YMCA.
• Greet, engage, and provide tours to prospective members and program participants.
• Support and/or participate in the sale of memberships and/or program registrations.
• Respond to member questions with up-to-date knowledge and clarity.
